WHAT FLUDITEC IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR\u003cbr\u003eThe Fluditec preparation liquefies bronchial secretions, relieves expectoration. Its use is recommended in the case of swelling of the bronchial mucosa, especially in acute bronchitis.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e2. BEFORE YOU USE FLUDITEC SYRUP\u003cbr\u003eFluditec syrup should not be used:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eif you are allergic (hypersensitive) to carbocisteine, methyl parahydroxybenzoate or other parabens or any of the excipients of Fluditec.\u003cbr\u003eThis medicine is not recommended for use in infants (under 2 years of age), as it may worsen bronchiectasis.\u003cbr\u003eIf in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.\u003cbr\u003eSpecial precautions are required:\u003cbr\u003eIn the following cases, it is necessary to consult a doctor.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA lot of purulent secretion is coughed up.\u003cbr\u003eThere is a chronic lung or bronchial disease.\u003cbr\u003eWhen taking Fluditec, other cough medicines or preparations that suppress bronchial secretions should not be used.\u003cbr\u003eIf symptoms worsen, treatment should be discontinued. This should be considered if dietary sodium is severely restricted.\u003cbr\u003eOne dosing cup filled to the 5 ml mark contains 3.5 g of sucrose. This should be taken into account if you are restricting the amount of sugar in your diet or if you have diabetes.\u003cbr\u003eThis medicinal product contains methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218) and azo dye (sunset yellow FCF (E110)). May cause allergic reactions which may be delayed.\u003cbr\u003e3. HOW TO USE FLUDITEC RESPIRATORY SYRUP\u003cbr\u003eFluditec medicine is only for children.\u003cbr\u003eOne dosing cup (graduated to 5 ml) contains 100 mg of carbocisteine.\u003cbr\u003eUsual dosage\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eChildren older than 5 years. 100 mg of Fluditec syrup (one dosing cup filled to the 5 ml mark) is taken three times a day.\u003cbr\u003e2-5 year old children. 100 mg of syrup is taken twice a day (one dosing cup filled to the 5 ml mark).\u003cbr\u003eUse orally.\u003cbr\u003eDo not use the product for more than 8-10 days without a doctor's prescription.\u003cbr\u003eIf you take too much Fluditec,\u003cbr\u003eyou may experience signs of gastrointestinal upset (see section 4).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf you forget to take Fluditec\u003cbr\u003eDo not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhen you stop taking Fluditec syrup\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe data is not relevant.\u003cbr\u003eIf you have any further questions about the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.\u003cbr\u003e4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS OF FLUDITEC\u003cbr\u003eLike all medicines, Fluditec can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.\u003cbr\u003eBronchial swelling may occur in infants.\u003cbr\u003eAllergic skin reactions such as pruritus, erythematous rash, urticaria and angioedema may occur.\u003cbr\u003eGastrointestinal disorders may occur: stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. In this case, it may be necessary to reduce the dose.\u003cbr\u003eIf you get any serious side effects or notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, tell your doctor or pharmacist.\u003cbr\u003e5. HOW TO STORE FLUDITEC SYRUP\u003cbr\u003eKeep Fluditec syrup out of the reach and sight of children.\u003cbr\u003eStore below 25°C.\u003cbr\u003eDo not use Fluditec after the expiry date stated on the carton and bottle under the \"Expiry Until\" label. The drug is suitable for use until the last day of the indicated month.\u003cbr\u003eFluditec medicines must not be poured down the drain or disposed of with household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of unnecessary medicines. These measures will help protect the environment.\u003cbr\u003e6.
