Biosterone contains DHEA, which is a natural steroid hormone produced in large amounts in the reticular layer of the adrenal glands. the DHEA hormone contained in Biosteron has the characteristics of a weak androgen and is a precursor of other sex hormones in the female body. DHEA undergoes enzymatic conversion - through androstenedione and testosterone - to estrogens, including estradiol.
In men's bodies, the DHEA metabolism pathway leads to the synthesis of powerful androgens, including testosterone. DHEA is a pool of inactive pro-hormone that is converted to active sex hormones, and the degree of this conversion depends on age, gender and individual characteristics.
